Top planner for moms

As a mumpreneur, no matter how much we plan, our days can sometimes merge into the next, and at the end of each one, you feel exhausted and heck tired. I had one of those days this week when I wrapped up my work at 2 am, had a training to attend at 3 am (US time zone), with my next working day starting at 7 am. Of course, this doesn’t happen very often now, thanks to my religious planning regime, but yes, it is very easy to feel overwhelmed as a mumpreneur looking at your never-ending ‘to-do’ list.

One thing that really helps me to keep everything under control is planning. I like to stay organised and plan my working week well in advance.

I believe that as a mumpreneur, planning out our working week is incredibly crucial. At the end of each day, we are left feeling satisfied and productive in our efforts. Yes, you might not be able to tick off everything at the end of the week as our beloved children can be so unpredictable (I mean those sick days, off days, throwing a tantrum about anything and everything days…)

But that’s okay. Read that again: That’s OKAY! You are a human! Look at those things you ticked off. Heck yeah!! It was a productive week. You did amazing!

Reflect and then plan the next week ahead, keeping in mind the tasks you couldn’t complete. And then keep going! Look at your progress and consider even the most minor achievements as your wins.

Next important thing to talk about: What’s the best time to plan.

Find those quiet times. I like to spend most of my time planning and working out my goals either on Sundays or early mornings (4 am, 5 am) on weekdays.

To ensure my plan align well with my big yearly goals, I look at my annual and quarterly goals, along with my monthly goal breakdown, and then set my weekly goals incorporating them. This way, each week, I am taking a few steps closer to my big goals.

Lastly, find a kickass, impressive planner!

This is my favourite research every year. I research thoroughly and handpick my planner for maximum productivity and clarity each year. By research, I mean thorough research. I look at each and everything from features to the overall look and feel. And in this blog, I am sharing my top 5 recommendations.
